Stinker Face

In case you haven't had an opportunity to see it in person this is Gianna's stinker face...she does it when she thinks she's getting away with something. It's so funny!

Happy 8th Birthday Jadyn!!

On October 11th, 2007 Jadyn turned 8 years old! On the following saturday we went to San Jose with Grandpa, Grandma and Great Grandpa to go to Jadyn's bowling and pizza birthday party. Before the party we were unsure of if Gianna would love or hate bowling, but after a long nap in the car we found our answer: SHE LOVED IT!!!

As most of you know, Gianna is a total busy-body so she loved watching all of the people (especially her second-cousins Jadyn and Cole), and she also loved watching those little round, shiney, body-less people who kept sliding down the long shiney ground that we weren't allowed to walk on. She did enjoy getting aquainted with one bowling ball though.

Anyway, Jadyn had a great Birthday and he loved the remote-control car that we got him.

A visit.

Grandpa, Grandma and Great Grandpa Buscho came down from Oregon for a visit October 12-16. It was nice to have them visit and also for them to stay with us again. We were especially happy to see Gianna's Great Grandpa Buscho since she hasn't seen him since May!

The best part about them staying with us is getting to be part of the everyday, ordinary and extrordinary moments that are part of our daily routine. Gianna is at her best early in the morning and any time she doesn't have to get in the car to go see someone, ha ha!
On friday night after they arrived we went out to dinner (at Casa Orozco, again) and Gianna really loved sucking on a lime and we had fun seeing this as a photo-op.
We had a busy weekend of Birthdays, shopping, and lots of other activities, read the next posts for more on this!

Happy 30th Birthday Jenny!

My friend Jenny turned 30 this week!

Happy Birthday Jenny.

To celebrate, a few of us went out to Casa Orozco in Livermore for some of their famous mexican food and margaritas. It was a lot of fun to have a night out.

Pumpkin Patch 10/7: One more try!

I'm still having issues with posting...there are some weird problems with the last post from the pumkin patch so I am just trying to restart, but I have to leave the old post there to keep the pictures. Lets hope this works, as of right now some of the pictures are showing up and some aren't...oh boy, technology is a wonder! You can scroll down to the original post to see more pumpkin patch pictures too. Oh, and as a reminder: to see a full sized image just click on the image you see in the post. Happy reading!

Sunday 10/7 we went to Joan's Pumpkin Patch in Livermore and spent the morning looking at pumpkins and animals, having story time, and then meeting up with playgroup buddies. It was amazing and there are a million pictures that we loved so we'll just share a bunch here!

Where has the last month gone?

Okay just so everyone knows...we are still trying to update the page...over the past few weeks we have been extremely busy and since Gianna started crawling super fast, pushing everything around the house and getting into almost everything we own time is really just non-existant. Plus, everytime I try to upload pictures I get some weird error message from blogger. Has anyone else gotten this message? Anyway, I will post this weekend, pictures or not. But for now I have to run because Gianna is standing three feet away from me supporting her self with nothing other than a vertical blind!

It's been a while since we updated....

Gymboree

We took Gianna to Gymboree class this weekend. She had a great time playing on the equipment and meeting new friends. Here are some pictures of her favorite parts:

Trying to Sit in the "Tire Swing"

Parachute Time with Bubbles

Popping Bubbles

Jump-a-Jump-a-Jump

and her favorite (drumroll please)....

Crawling through the colorful tube! She loved this thing and she went through it so fast!

She also loved our wonderful instructor who had a great voice and really got excited by how Gianna smiled throughout the whole class!

What a fun time. We'll definitely be going back soon.

Big week so far!

We started the week by finishing off the baby-proofing in the kitchen.

Gianna has been spending a ton of time hanging out in there with Mommy and her favorite place is to hang out standing at the dishwasher or opening the drawers...

...but not anymore!

Here's some great pictures of Gianna helping Mommy and Daddy Baby-proof the kitchen.

Last night we went to Berkeley to celebrate Uncle Johnny's 20th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Johnny!

Gianna loved sitting outside at the Thai House and eating along with the Grown-ups. She also loved watching uncle Johnny Blow out his candle and was happy to take care of the ribbon from his present.
She is such a little cutie!

Today we had playgroup. Gianna continued making her rounds, this time grabbing Nicolas' tooshie...ha ha! But then to make up for it she shared her puffs (and then took one out of his hand and ate it). These kiddos are really getting some serious personalities. You can definitely tell that they all know and recognize each other and the mommies too. Gianna even let Chelynn hold her today! These days that is unheard of! A few of them are really moving now too so it's really fun to see them together.

That's all for now, hope everyone is having a great week!

Love,
Jessica
