"Mommy's Hat"

Gianna wanted me to put her towel on her head like "Mommy's hat" one night when we were getting ready for bed.

Look Mom! I dressed myself.

Here is what Gianna would look like if we let her dress herself. She thought she was really funny running around the house like this.
I love the saggy pants too.

I was watching that!

You know how it always seems that the person holding the remote falls asleep and when you try to take it from them they wake up and say "I was watching that." Connor is already headed down that road.

Thank You Courvilles!

The Courvilles sent Gianna this great set for her birthday and she is still wearing it! Cow boots, gloves, a purse and, and bug house.

Costco

I made a trip to Costco with the kids-By Myself! I thought it was photo and blog-worthy

Birthday Dinner at Chevys

For Gianna's Second Birthday we took her to dinner at Chevy's. The result was quite funny. (Also, if you're wondering why you don't see Connor in the birthday pictures, its because he did like most 1 month olds do: slept on and off all day in his infant seat and the carrier).

Eating Dinner:She asked everyone to wear their napkins like a bib:Checking out the tortilla machine with Daddy:Yummy Tortillas!

Gianna with Mommy and Daddy (this is the best pic of the 3 of us we have from the whole day).
After they brought her her dessert and hat (see video below).

Letting Daddy Help

Gianna had some work to do around the house and she was nice enough to let daddy help.

Mini Golf

Here is Gianna ready to mini golf on her birthday.

Gianna loves to put the golf ball in the hole, although she doesn't quite have the hang of putting yet.Gianna loves the holes where the golfball disappears and then reappears. I think she did this one about 25 times.

Birthday Breakfast

Here are some pictures from Gianna's Birthday breakfast at Emil Villa's (with her new camera):

Parachute

One of Gianna's favorite birthday gifts was a Parachute. Here she is playing with it after her birthday party, she has a little help from all of her Grandparents and Daddy and Mommy and Uncle Johnny.
Peek-a-boo.Here's a video of us playing

Connor meets the Thompsons

Connor stayed home from Gianna's party (thanks to Sarah and Mike), so the Thompsons came by after to say hello.

Gianna's 2nd Birthday Party

For Gianna's second birthday we had a party at Cafe Art, a ceramic painting studio in Livermore. It was so much fun to watch the kids paint their tiles (I am proudly now using Gianna's as a spoon rest). Gianna and all of her friends did surprisingly well and the party was a hit! Here are some photo highlights from the party:

The cake (the party was balloon themed):Mommy and the Birthday Girl:Waiting to paint:Starting off:A little help from Poppy (and paint on the nose):Everyone painting:Ooh, show me how you do that, Great Grammy:Help from Mommy:Mmm, pizza:Cake! (Gianna had the cutest expression when she finally realized everyone was singing to her).Wow!

The Amazing Buschos

Here's Gianna and Mommy practicing for our circus act.Do you think we should take it on the road?

Connor's 1st trip to the beach 1/10/09!

This is why we love California! If you know Justin and I, you know that Connor had to make it to the beach sometime soon after he was born. Of course he slept through all of our trip out there, but we have the picture to prove he was there.
We just love the beach, I'm sure our kids will be the same way (Gianna already seems to love it).

2 Kids!

Sometimes it's still hard to believe that we have 2 kids (and we are a family of 4!). Luckily for us, our kids are super-duper cute and sweet...of course, we might be a little biased.

These pictures are from the week of Jan 3-10.

Cuddling.
Going "Rahk-wee, Rahk-wee".
