Family at the Zoo

Last weekend my mom came to visit to babysit Gianna while Justin and I went to a pie party at a friends house (Thank Goodness for Grandma!). It was really nice to have her her and for us to have a night out. The next day we went to the Oakland Zoo with Grandma and then to DimSum...mmm yummy! Gianna loved the Koi and the people watching at Dim Sum, what fun! Also, we were lucky again and saw Donna the elephant once more. We are so blessed to be able to visit the zoo so often thanks to the pass Gianna (aka my mom) gave us for our birthdays.

Cool Dudette.

Here's Gianna playing with Mommy's sunglasses. She cracks us up!

Dawns Birthday and Playgroup

Dawn hosted playgroup at her house on her birthday and we were all very happy to celebrate with her. It was also especially nice because Ryan was there too and it has been a long time since we saw him. Gianna also loved climbing the stairs and I got a little of it on video, but not much. She actually climbed all the way to the second story by herself (with mommy close behind). It was a very fun playgroup. Happy Birthday Dawn!

Zoo with Mommy 11/5

Gianna took mommy to the Zoo because we are still having such amazing weather. We had a very fun day together and it was great to get out of the house for such a nice outing in November! We were very lucky on this particular day because we got to see a very special elephant feeding. The trainer came over to feed the elephants and asked Donna the Elephant to wave, and she did! I even got a picture of it. Gianna also enjoyed looking at the Zebras while she ate lunch, calling the zebras "ee-da" (her way to say Doggie), getting out of the stroller to climb around the tortoise shells and pointing at the brightly colored frogs. It was a wonderful day and it was so gorgeous out that I felt so grateful to be there.

Saturday Morning Walk 11/3

A few weeks ago we met up with Renee, Spencer and Dawn for a Saturday morning walk. Justin has never been to Sycamore Grove with us and he loved seeing it. Spencer and Gianna loved the shoulder rides from their mommies!

Playing with Mommy

Gianna has this really cute towel that looks like a bunny...here she is with Mommy one night after bathtime playing in front of the mirror. She sure is a silly bunny!
