Connor's 1st trip to the beach 1/10/09!

This is why we love California! If you know Justin and I, you know that Connor had to make it to the beach sometime soon after he was born. Of course he slept through all of our trip out there, but we have the picture to prove he was there.
We just love the beach, I'm sure our kids will be the same way (Gianna already seems to love it).

2 Kids!

Sometimes it's still hard to believe that we have 2 kids (and we are a family of 4!). Luckily for us, our kids are super-duper cute and sweet...of course, we might be a little biased.

These pictures are from the week of Jan 3-10.

Cuddling.
Going "Rahk-wee, Rahk-wee".

Patty Cake!

Connor loves Patty Cake. Luckily for all of us, so does Gianna's Baby.

Cookies, mmmm.

Gianna's new favorite thing to do is help in the kitchen (which is awesome since it is too cold to play outside in the evenings). Her absolute favorite thing to make is cookies. Here are some photos of making sugar cookies on Christmas Eve and also some pictures of making oatmeal raisin cookies with Daddy and Mommy.

Flour the dough...
Roll it out...
Cut out the cookies...
Decorate!Mix the ingredients...
Drop onto pan...
And eat!

Daddy's Girl

Gianna has been particularly funny lately (well, these pictures were taken in late December/early January), here she is dressing like Daddy:

In his shoes,

and in his hat,

and playing a guitar (from Uncle Johnny).

Our Chair

Gianna loves to go "rocky rocky" and of course her favorite time to do this is when Mommy is already rocking Connor.

This chair is so special. I got it from my mom for my 21st birthday and I believe she got it for her 21st birthday.

Connor's 1st real bath

Connor loves the bath, just like his sister did.,

So this is love...

It's better sometimes to let the pictures speak for themselves...

Pooh Slippers

Gianna got these pooh slippers for Christmas and she cracks us up trying to walk around the house in them.

On a side note, what was AA Milne thinking when he decided on "Pooh", we had a rather embarrassing moment in church a couple weeks ago when Gianna was letting us know that she was coloring in her "Pooh" coloring book by yelling "Pooh" enthusiastically during a moment of silence.

Family Photo Session

We wanted to get a picture for our Christmas cards (which are going out understandably late this year) immediately when we got home. Of course, bringing a baby into the house and having everything change so much didn't put Gianna in the most cooperative mood. Fortunately, she forgo the usual tantrum and just did things that made us crack up. We were laughing so hard by the end. The story is best told by looking at the sequence of photos:

Mommy, Daddy and Connor
Gianna wants to sit on Mommy's lap, this makes Connor mad.
Gianna gets cheesy while Connor gets a little more upset.
Still Mad (and a little squinchy).
That Baby is funny.
Connor falls asleep, but Gianna won't sit still...blurry.Gianna out in front. Funniest moment ever.Gianna's outta here.Connor and Daddy
Mommy, Daddy and Connor again...we start discussing the option of photo-shopping Gianna into the picture. So Funny!
